An award-winning Chicago based actor, Amelia Mahrie craves connection through art - and has since found that the kinetic spark of live theatre combined with the spontaneity rooted in independent cinema is exactly what the doctor prescribed.

With over 120 acting credits, Amelia would classify herself as a "sponge" who is constantly learning from those around her. A recent graduate from Columbia College Chicago (Fall '25) Amelia received an Acting BFA and a Stage Combat Minor along with certifications in seven different fighting styles including her favorite - knife.

Within my 85+ film credits, I have stepped into a variety of on-set roles both on-camera and off, including actor, producer, casting director, screenwriter, assistant director, script supervisor, and more.

Beckett & Ionesco & McLaughlin: Oh My! The stage was where I first discovered my love for performing and have since played roles from combat-hungry sons to immortal daughters.
